1st YEAR SPRING

This project translated a two-dimensional map into a three-dimensional architectural model. Using the maps, lines, and guides, I developed a physical model that turned information into volume, mass, and hierarchy. Plaster and wood were the model’s primary materials, chosen to clearly express form and structure. In addition to the base model, a pavilion was designed. My pavilion was positioned atop and wrapped around the plaster cube, creating a dynamic relationship between mass and structure.
